Chicagoland native, Meagan Panici, is an on-air DJ at WZRD 88.3 FM, and also manages the role of Promotions Director. She has also been bringing bands and fans together since 2008 through her independent business, Panici Promotions. Her work consists of a combination of street teaming, PR, print and social media promotion. Meagan’s main goal is to get venues filled for young and emerging artists and she has successfully done so for bands in the Chicago area as well as other areas in the Midwest. Recently she has begun working with Jam Productions, utilizing her skills behind the scenes in the box office and promoting bands for venues like The Vic Theatre, The Riviera, and Park West. Meagan also runs sound and lights at Davenport’s Cabaret and holds the position of tech director. For the past seven years at WZRD, she has continued her mission of linking musicians and their audiences together through innovative live broadcasts, insightful interviews, and ticket giveaways.
